An Accor hotel in Dubai is hiring a Bus Driver to run staff transport between the colleagues' accommodation and the hotel. Alongside driving, the role covers basic bus upkeep, the trip logbook and helping the transport team keep services on schedule.
What the role involves
- Pick up and drop off colleagues between staff accommodation and the hotel in a friendly, courteous manner
- Operate and look after the bus with a focus on safety and passenger courtesy
- Clean the bus regularly and carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed
- Fuel the vehicle and make sure scheduled maintenance is completed and reported
- Keep the logbook updated and prepare trip reports and accident or incident reports when required
- Help with other duties requested by management when not on transport service
Requirements noted by the boards
- Diploma or high school certificate
- 1-3 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel, or UAE driving experience
- Valid UAE driving licence
- Familiar with UAE roads and landmarks, especially Dubai, and with local road rules
