AlephYa, the education group, is hiring a Commercial Manager in Riyadh to provide commercial and financial oversight across its schools in Saudi Arabia, reporting to the General Manager. The role covers performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, enrolment and revenue growth, and management reporting.
What the role involves
- Monitor and analyse business and commercial performance across all Saudi schools against agreed targets
- Review revenue, profitability, enrolments and operating expenditure, and admissions and marketing performance
- Lead the consolidation of annual budgets, forecasts and periodic financial performance reviews across the portfolio
- Prepare monthly management reports with profit and loss, budget-versus-actual and variance analysis
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, fee collections and receivables, and build financial models and business cases for decisions
- Act as the key commercial and financial business partner to the General Manager and school leadership teams
Requirements noted by the boards
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or a related field
- A professional finance qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA is an advantage
- Significant experience in commercial finance, financial planning and analysis or management reporting, with extensive experience of the Saudi Arabian market
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential (as listed on the board)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with financial reporting and business intelligence tools
