Apt Resources is seeking an Electrical Technician in Riyadh who specialises in generator maintenance and installation for a client team. The work covers installing, servicing and repairing generator sets so they run reliably in the workshop and on customer sites.

What the role involves

• Work on electrical systems, wiring and control panels for generator sets
• Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work in the workshop and on site
• Install and commission new generator sets to schedule
• Read electrical drawings to diagnose and fix faults
• Attend on-call service requests outside normal hours and complete service reports
• Keep the work area clean and organised and follow safety standards

Requirements noted by the boards

• Certificate or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field (as listed on the boards)
• At least 4 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong understanding of generator systems and electrical troubleshooting
• Physically able to bend, stoop and lift medium to heavy items regularly
• Good English communication skills
