Delphi Star Training Center is hiring a Financial Accountant in Dubai to look after financial records and reporting. What the role involves
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements that comply with regulatory standards
- Manage the general ledger, including the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyse financial results to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement
- Make sure accounting follows UAE regulations and international financial reporting standards
- Work with internal departments and external auditors during audits and financial reviews
- Help with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for management decisions
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and maintain sound internal financial controls
Requirements noted by the boards
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field; a professional certification is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting or a related role
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail, with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Able to handle several tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure; high integrity and professionalism
