About this opening
Al Forsan, the Abu Dhabi sports and leisure resort, is hiring Heavy Truck Drivers and Heavy Bus Drivers for its hospitality operation. The drivers move guests, staff and goods between resort locations and other destinations, keeping to schedule and to UAE safety rules.
What the role involves
- Drive heavy trucks and buses safely, following company policy and UAE traffic law
- Transport guests, staff and goods to resort locations and other set destinations on time
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Keep the cab and vehicle interior clean and in good working order
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel use, maintenance and any incidents, and report incidents to management at once
- Help passengers during boarding and travel so they ride comfortably and safely
Requirements noted by the boards
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving licence for trucks and buses, with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a heavy truck or bus driver — hospitality or resort experience is a plus
- Good knowledge of UAE traffic laws and safety standards
- Physically fit for long driving hours, and able to work weekends and public holidays
- Professional, courteous manner with guests and colleagues
