About this opening
Guildhall is hiring a Recruitment Operations Lead in Dubai for Guildhall Workforce Solutions, its dedicated volume-recruitment division. This is a hands-on delivery role, not a traditional consultant desk: the lead owns day-to-day recruitment delivery for volume and bulk hiring across construction, hospitality, facilities management, logistics, retail and sales, from a single hire to campaigns of 50 or more workers.
What the role involves
- Run end-to-end recruitment for multiple clients, industries and job categories, and own client requirements, sourcing, screening, interviews and placements
- Recruit construction trades at volume, including carpenters, masons, steel fixers, electricians, plumbers, welders, drivers, equipment operators, foremen and technicians
- Handle volume hiring for hospitality, sales, retail, customer service, warehouse and logistics roles, and execute bulk campaigns of 10, 20, 50 or more workers to agreed deadlines
- Carry out initial screening, telephone interviews, assessments and shortlisting, and coordinate trade tests, interviews, offer acceptance, joining and replacements
- Build and maintain a searchable candidate database and a ready pipeline for frequently requested roles, using job boards, referrals, social media, recruitment partners and direct networks
- Manage relationships with overseas recruitment partners in markets such as Nepal, India, Pakistan and the Philippines, and coordinate the overseas recruitment lifecycle, documentation and deployment
- Work with authorised overseas agencies and employer HR/PRO teams on UAE entry permits, employment visas and medical requirements, and track pipelines, conversion, joining rates and client satisfaction
Requirements noted by the source board
- Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably within a UAE-based recruitment agency or manpower recruitment business
- Proven experience recruiting skilled and semi-skilled construction workers at volume, across several industries
- An existing, active candidate network and established sourcing channels (described as essential on the board)
- Practical experience working with overseas recruitment agencies, particularly in South Asia, and a strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, documentation and mobilisation
- Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages such as Hindi, Nepali, Urdu or Arabic are an advantage
- Strong organisational skills and confidence with recruitment databases, Excel, applicant tracking systems and digital sourcing tools
