RTC-1 Employment Services is hiring a Senior Fashion Designer in Manama for a well-established Bahraini fashion house that blends traditional Middle Eastern heritage with contemporary fashion. The designer leads collections from first concept through sampling and fitting to final production, and guides a small team of designers.
What the role involves
- Lead the full design process from concept, trend research and collection development through sampling, fitting and final production
- Produce design illustrations, patterns, draping and production sketches using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Corel
- Guide a team of 2-3 fashion designers, allocating projects and checking work against the house creative direction, quality standards and deadlines
- Choose fabrics and materials, and work out fabric consumption and production time to keep costs under control
- Keep collections aligned with the commercial direction of the house
Requirements noted by the source board

- Strong sketching and fashion illustration skills, with a portfolio showing previous work
