Big Fish Recruitment is hiring a Cook/Chef in Khobar for a facilities management client, based at a remote site in Saudi Arabia. The chef runs daily meal production for a high-volume operation, so remote-site or camp catering experience is what this opening is really looking for.
What the role involves
- Prepare meals to the agreed menus and standards, and oversee food preparation in the kitchen
- Run daily kitchen operations: cooking, presentation and hygiene
- Follow food safety, HACCP and health and hygiene standards at all times
- Watch food quality, portion control, wastage and kitchen costs
- Coordinate with kitchen and catering staff so meals are ready and served on schedule
- Help with menu planning, stock control and inventory, and keep the kitchen clean and organised
