What the role involves
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in line with business objectives
- Oversee financial operations including accounting, treasury, budgeting, taxation and financial reporting
- Ensure liquidity and banking facilities to support current and future construction projects, and manage corporate and project-level cash flows, receivables, payables and working capital
- Monitor project financial performance, profitability, cost overruns and financial risks, and establish financial controls and approval procedures
- Assess the financial exposure and profitability of new tenders and major contracts
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, financial institutions and external stakeholders, and advise the CEO and Board with financial analysis and recommendations
