Why this section exists — and why it stays small
Many of the workers who read this site ask the same question for their children, their siblings or themselves: is there a funded way to study in the Gulf, not just work there? There is — Saudi, Emirati, Qatari and other Gulf universities run some of the most generous scholarships in the world. But scholarship information online is even noisier than salary information: aggregator blogs copy each other's deadlines, invent dates that the university never published, and sit next to “agents” selling applications that are free. So this section follows the same discipline as the rest of the site, only stricter: facts only from official sources — the university's own admissions pages, official portals such as Study in Saudi, and ministry pages — gathered and dated for each guide. We publish few guides, and we stand behind all of them.
Live guides
One more approved guide is in preparation for this section: the Study in Saudi platform — the Saudi Ministry of Education's application route for scholarships at Saudi public universities — written as an evergreen preparation guide, because the platform's last application window closed on 6 October 2026 and no new window has been officially announced yet. It will be published here only with facts taken from the official platform.
The rule that protects you in every guide
Before you act on any scholarship — here or anywhere else — run the same discipline as for a job offer: find the programme on the university's own website, confirm the deadline there, and apply only through the official portal. If a date or a fee appears on a blog but not on the university's page, treat it as unverified. Workers planning the employment route instead will find pay ranges on the Saudi Arabia hub, the work-visa process from Pakistan, and the safety checks in Verify an Agent & Avoid Job Scams.
