RTC-1 Employment Services is hiring a Finished Goods Warehouse Supervisor in Umm Al Quwain for a petrochemical manufacturer and trader of paints, coatings, resins, adhesives and construction chemicals with factories and operations across the Middle East, Africa and Europe. The supervisor runs finished-goods receiving, storage and dispatch, keeps warehouse system records accurate, and leads the warehouse team on the floor.
What the role involves
- Supervise receiving, storage, picking, loading and dispatch, checking that products, quantities and batches are correct
- Keep warehouse management system transactions accurate and on time, covering barcode scanning, stock locations and batch traceability
- Run cycle counts, investigate stock discrepancies, and control damaged, ageing and near-expiry stock using FIFO/FEFO
- Enforce safe chemical storage, forklift operation, PPE use, housekeeping and clear emergency access
- Allocate tasks to the warehouse team, train employees and monitor productivity, attendance and performance
- Work with Production, QC, Planning and Customer Service to meet dispatch schedules, releasing only QC-approved stock
Requirements noted by the source board
- A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field (as listed on the board)
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience, including 2 years as a supervisor
- Paint, coatings or chemical manufacturing experience is preferred (as listed on the board)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, ERP, inventory control and warehouse safety
