What the role involves
- Conduct workplace risk assessments, identify potential hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures across factory and warehouse operations
- Perform regular safety inspections, monitor compliance with HSE regulations and company policies, and ensure safe working practices around machinery, equipment and production areas
- Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions and deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
- Maintain accurate HSE reports, incident records, risk registers, inspection checklists and audit documentation, supporting internal and external HSE audits
