TalentGrade is hiring an experienced Life Boat Technician in Abu Dhabi for a marine safety equipment servicing company. The technician inspects, services, tests, maintains and repairs lifeboats and their launching equipment to marine safety standards, including davits, winches and release mechanisms.
What the role involves
- Inspect, maintain, test, and service lifeboats and rescue boats
- Inspect and maintain launching appliances, davits, winches, and release mechanisms
- Identify mechanical and technical faults and carry out necessary repairs
- Conduct operational testing and preventive maintenance of lifeboat systems
- Ensure servicing complies with manufacturer guidelines and applicable marine safety regulations
- Prepare inspection reports, servicing documentation, and maintenance records
