About this opening

RTC-1 Employment Services, a Dubai-based licensed recruitment firm, is hiring a Travel Butler for a Dubai-based organisation in the luxury real estate and high-end lifestyle sector, serving an ultra-high-net-worth principal. The butler travels with the principal as the primary travelling butler — arranging flights, luxury hotels, visas, ground transport, itineraries and last-minute changes, managing the principal's schedule and personal requirements, and handling all wardrobe and luggage duties. The board wants a male candidate with demonstrable experience serving UHNWI or high-net-worth principals, private families, royal households or family offices, proven international travel experience and exceptional discretion.

What the role involves

  • Accompany the principal on extensive international travel as the primary travelling butler, coordinating flights, travel logistics, luxury hotels, visas, ground transportation, itineraries and last-minute changes
  • Manage the principal's demanding schedule and day-to-day personal requirements with close attention to detail, keeping appointments, travel movements, engagements and preferences handled seamlessly
  • Take full responsibility for wardrobe and luggage management before, during and after travel: professional packing and unpacking, garment organisation and care, clothing prepared for each destination, personal shopping and sourcing
  • Anticipate the principal's needs, preferences and routines independently, operating as the main butler on the move with absolute discretion

Requirements noted by the source board

  • Male, with strong demonstrable experience working directly for UHNWI/HNW principals, private families, royal households, family offices, luxury residences or comparable private environments (as listed on the board; hotel-only backgrounds without substantial private-household exposure are not preferred)
  • Proven experience travelling internationally with a principal and independently handling complex flights, luxury accommodation, visas, itineraries, transfers, reservations and luggage (as listed on the board)
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and irregular schedules; confident operating as the main travelling butler without another senior butler (as listed on the board)
  • Excellent organisation, anticipation, judgement, resourcefulness and discreet independent problem-solving, with exceptional discretion, confidentiality, grooming, communication and etiquette (as listed on the board)
